With the exception of a few people, none of us really performed well. I don't know if the weather got to us or if we were all just kind of still on Spring Break. It was a smaller meet, I think only 6 teams were there. I raced the 1500 today and I ran just embarrassing. First two laps were a 70 followed by a 65 and that was fine, but I just don't even know what happened after that. I fell off so bad. My only solice is that everyone ran slow today, even the winners. Anyway, this is the kind of meet I just learn from and fix it next time. My legs feel good, the calf is slowly getting better, and I ready to run fast. Maybe having a race like this is just the boost of motivation I need to finish the season in full force. As a team, we are ready to have a breakthrough meet. We have so much potential, but as a team we haven't fully shown it yet. It will come though, I'm not worried at all.
After the meet, we went to the beach and ate Olive Garden. Besides the wind and Zach hurting his foot, we had a bunch of fun. Now its time to start school again. 5 more weeks till conference.

Also, I just watched this really interesting video about two twins from New Zealand who moved to Kenya 4 years ago as 17 year olds to train with the best. Heres the link:
